Michelle Rottach | I am lucky enough to do what I love, so it's not really work. I believe that you should experience life with a sense of humor and a smile. | I don't have a staff of people that work for me and I don't sell a gazillion houses every year. What you will get is my personalized attention. When you call you will talk with me and the buck stops with me. I know real estate inside and out. I check the market statistics, know the inventory and I'm hands on in everyway. I spend 4 hours or more each week previewing the new listings that come on the market in St. Charles county that are priced between $150,000 and $300,000. I am straight forward. I'll tell you like it is - which is not always what you want to hear. I tell people what I will do, won't do, or can't do. As long as everyone understands the rules right away, everything is OK. When the rules change along the way, that's when things get rocky. I accept responsibility. If I don't think I can get a price, I tell the seller right away. Ultimately the responsibility rests on the agents shoulders. Do I push the margins with price? Absolutely! My job is to get the best price but I have to be practical and help my clients understand the market. I will never "buy" the listing by telling a seller that I can get them more than the market will bear just so they will list their home with me. | About me as a "real estate agent" I have been selling real estate since 1991. I started with Gundaker which is now Coldwell Banker Gundaker and I moved to RE/MAX in 1994 when my production level allowed it. I was a general contractor for custom built homes from 1986 to 1991. I'm a member of the St. Charles County, Missouri and National board of Realtors and abide by their code of ethics. About me as a "person" I love playing with my grandchildren - I love experiencing life through them. It's so pure and everything is new and exciting. They make you remember that something as simple as making mud pies can fill an afternoon with joy. I enjoy gardening - there's nothing like the taste of the season's first tomato or picking a huge bouquet of flowers for every room in the house. I love to treasure hunt - you'll find me at antique shops, flea markets and the local garage sale. I love the chase of finding my next new treasure. I like to fish but only when the fish are biting. Otherwise I find myself daydreaming or taking an afternoon nap with the pole in my lap. I like to golf but I use my "hand wedge" more than any other club in the bag. Does that tell you anything about my handicap??? I love real estate because of the lasting friendships that I have made through the years working with people. |
